Growth across the board for RM Interiors in 2021

Despite manufacturing catastrophes, shipping delays, and all the other inconveniences 2021 presented, RM Interiors (RMI) managed to not only substantially increase revenue, but grow in multiple impactful ways.

Most notably, RMI saw more than 60% revenue growth in 2021. The RMI team went into 2021 swinging with a foolproof plan of action that exceeded expectations.

“2021 was a great year for us,” said JJ DuPuis, RMI’s VP of Operations. “We made huge strides in perfecting our model operationally while seeing a significant increase in volume. We’re a better partner for our customers now than we were at the beginning of 2021 and we’re excited to see that continue through 2022.”

It’s no secret the real estate market was on fire in 2021 and still is. As a result of the real estate explosion, a number of RMI’s core customers grew substantially last year and the sales division seized the opportunity to diversify the company’s client base by forging multiple new partnerships.

While the major growth in revenue and opportunities is top of mind, there are a number of other victories giving RMI momentum heading into 2022.

The RMI team grew by 35%

RMI has a bigger team than ever before stacked with talented, hard-working people. The influx of employees was largely the result of restructuring account management, moving operations from RMI HQ in Phoenix to local branches across the U.S. – all with the intention of improving service quality. By the looks of what’s coming in 2022, RMI is going to need a well-staffed, dynamic team.

Multifamily flooring sales quadrupled

After more than a decade in single family real estate flooring, RMI opened business to multifamily customers in 2020 and saw a 300% increase in sales in 2021.

Expansion in the West

RMI has consistently expanded into new markets every year since 2017, but took a break from opening new locations in 2021. The break was short-lived with the opening of a new branch location in Denver, Colo. in January of 2022. The new warehouse facility and accompanying staff will allow RMI to service customers in the Colorado markets that are poised to boom over the next three years.

So, what does 2022 hold for RMI?

RMI is expecting 40-50% revenue growth in 2022 as the company continues to grow and expand with its partners. Looking at the trajectory of the real estate industry in 2022, there is no way to go but up. Driven by solid leadership and reputable teams of

flooring installation experts across the country, RMI has goals to surpass expected growth by doing what it does best: executing a flawless end product on time, every time.
